Music at UUCF

Here at the UUCF, we are pleased to present an improved music program that now includes a children’s choir! Each ensemble continues to grow and develop while exploring a variety of musical repertoire. The music program will present a Holiday musical (date and time TBA) and a spring musical in addition to participating in Sunday services as outlined below.

Our Adult Choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:00. The choir sings twice a month for Sunday services. New singers age 14 to adult are welcome to join the choir throughout the year.

The Children’s Choir rehearses on Thursday evenings from 6:30-7:15. This choir sings roughly once a month, and is open to all singers, 1st-8th grades. This choir will play an integral part in the two annual musicals and will also learn Unitarian Universalist songs and also anthems for Sunday services.

The Flute Ensemble rehearses on Wednesday evenings from 8:00-8:45pm, and plays the first Sunday of each month beginning in October. This is an instrumental ensemble that currently spotlights the flute, but other instruments are always welcome to join.

If you are interested in participating in any of our groups, please contact Pia Broden Williams, director of music.
