Dia de Los Muertos: A Remembrance Service

Join us this Sunday morning as we honor Dia de Los Muertos: a celebratory service of remembrance. You are encouraged to bring an object which reminds you of a special person in your life who has died. Some people may decide to create a small altar honoring that ancestor. Space will be made available for this practice.

We will also be collecting donations of canned goods and other non-perishable items for the Food Bank during this service.

Come in your costumes and join us for this multigenerational celebration!

During multigenerational services, our children and youth are invited to play special roles during our time together. If your child/ youth would like to help lead us in drumming for this service, please plan to arrive no later than 10am.

All children and youth will also be invited to help us light our chalice: try saying these words at home to practice:

We light this chalice to celebrate Unitarian Universalism.
The church of the open mind, loving heart and helping hands;
We help our Earth and each other!

Nursery care will be available for our youngest children. See you Sunday!
