This month’s Religious Exploration theme: Celebrating Community!

Let us join together in celebration of a new program year! Get ready to make new friends, meet new teachers and explore new ideas!

Sunday Morning Programs for Children and Youth

Unless otherwise noted, nursery care is available weekly beginning at 9:45am. On Religious Exploration Sundays, children and youth exit following our "moment for all ages" and will rejoin their families in the sanctuary during the closing hymn. Multigenerational Sundays are an opportunity for all ages to worship together for the entire service.

Sunday, September 1st, 2013: All ages Labor Day!
Sunday, September 8th,2013: Multigenerational Ingathering Worship followed by Jon Owen Memorial Picnic Celebration! (Bring a swimsuit and Towel!)
Sunday, September 15th,2013: k-12 Children’s Chapel and “coffee” hour
Sunday, September 22nd, 2013: Religious Exploration classes; k-12
Sunday, September 29th, 2013: Religious Exploration classes; k-12

Adults and children who are interested playing a part in our September 8th Ingathering Worship are welcome to join us for a short rehearsal! We will have both speak and silent roles for people of all ages! Come join us! For more information contact Amy Peterson Derrick

ADULT PROGRAMS RETURN!
The fall adult program brochure will be out the first week of September; here is a taste of some of the programming that will start up in September:

Spanish Conversation for Adults and Children 
Tuesdays from 5 to 6, Conference room. Vocabulary development through games, speaking and reading aloud.

The New Jim Crow: A Study Group Congregations throughout Greater Genesee County will be reading and discussing Michelle Alexander's important book, The New Jim Crow: Mass Incarceration in the Age of Color Blindness. Our group runs for six weeks on Tuesdays from 6:30 to 8 starting on 9/17.

Urantia Study
